Product Update: Spring / Summer 2026

Welcome to our Spring/Summer 2026 product update!

Over the past few months, we’ve spent some time focussed on ‘under the hood’ improvements that have improved performance and app stability. Alongside this, however, we’ve built some exciting new features, including our new claim overview. We’ve covered this in detail elsewhere, but wanted to highlight some of the new features that it incorporates, as well as some other improvements!

AI review refinements

Having launched our AI review service last Autumn, we spent time over the winter refining and improving this based on customer feedback. The refinements included:

• A downloadable PDF summary of the review to make it easier to share the outputs with your clients;
• The ability to cancel an in-progress reviews to reduce time wasted on unwanted reviews;
• Background improvements to reduce time-outs and navigation issues.

Document uploads

As part of the claim overview project, we’ve added the ability to upload any documents related to the claim to the app. This enables our users to store data related to the claim in one easy -to-access place. This makes it simple to refer back to the data if questions are raised later by the client, compare data across claim years and collate the data necessary to defend a claim in the event of HMRC having questions.

Recording HMRC status

Alongside the document uploads, we’ve added in the ability for our users to record the HMRC status of all claims, making it easier to manage your post-submission processes. The HMRC status of a claim is visible in the claim overview and the HMRC status tab in the workflow area, where claims can be filtered and sorted by where they are in the process.

Upcoming changes

Over the coming months we’ll be working on:

• Improved audit trails, enabling our users to better understand what changes were made to the claim, when the changes were made and who made the changes.
• Pulling in more data from Companies House, enabling us to better assess a company’s ability to claim R&D tax relief and reduce the number of questions in the app
• Refreshing the question set and the report to better reflect the current state of R&D tax relief.
